I was in the shower so I missed it. Apparently he came over to check on things. My wife said that he had something in his hand that he was fidgeting with and would not make eye contact with her.
She told him that the temp was now 78, and he sheepishly said that he’ll see if he can level it out for us.
Sounds to me like it wasn’t our fault afterall, now doesn’t it…
Of course we’d never get an apology. And at this point, it would fall on to deaf ears.
As I said in a previous comment, They didn’t come over here to fix the problem the other day, they came over here to prove that it was our fault. And I will not stand for it, and if we can help it we won’t be giving them anymore money.
The place we looked at the other day probably won’t work out. The 60-ish guy in the downstairs apartment expressed reservations about having kids above him, and I can understand that. They have someone else looking at it Thursday (who made an appt before us) and the landlords said they would contact us after that.
We looked around a house today that looks a little small for us– but it’s a house (no upstairs/downstairs neighbors), with a nice deck in the back. The person who owns it lives in Ohio, so she’s going to give us the contact information for the local guy so we can go inside and look.
I’m not getting my hopes up, but it would be nice.
So, to lighten the mood again, here’s a little JibJab ditty to brighten your day (and stain your pants?)
